Arrange supplies of Stores/Spares/Lube oil/provisions etc, Survey and Certificates, Repair
and maintenance.
2. Close liaison with Suppliers, prepare and plan supply to vessel at a convenient Port
3. Closely co-ordinates with Repair firms/Work shop, plan and carry out repairs as
required on time to avoid any delays to vessel and to maintain vessel smooth operation.
4. Monitor Certificates and surveys status of vessel, follow up and arrange classification
surveyor visit to vessel to complete surveys.
5. Keep control over operational performance of vessels such as
Speed,consumption,delays, claims etc on day to day basis.
6. Keep control over technical performance of the vessels such as Engine performance, wear
and tear, preventive maintenance, safety, Lube oil, water etc on day to day basis.
7. Closely maintain contact with owners of the vessels and present with operating Budgets
and Keep control over running cost, submit cost variance reports to owners.
8. Monitor and supervise the Safety Management System [SMS]
9. Visit vessels for routine and planned inspection at regular intervals of 3[three]
months.
10. Attend Dry docking, Ship Repair yards for normal docking, conversion, damage repairs
and negotiate
11. Keep update with International Regulatory requirements IMO regulations, SOLAS, Load
Lines, IOPP, USCG, AMSA, IACS, and ensure compliance by vessels.
12. Ensure that Company Safety and Environment Protection Policy is implemented and
followed on ships and in shore office. |
