Spare parts control is the major module product of the
VSM navigator package.
this controls the entire transaction related to consumption and receipt of spare's and consumables available on board.
This module holds most of the master entries related to the entire software gamut .
Data Once entered here in this module will be fetched by the other modules and needs no re-entry of
data pertaining to Ship details, Manufacturer, vendor, City ,country,
Priority, UOM, etc.
The application is controlled by the administrator who has the
right to allocate user privilege. An elaborate and easy to use user
allocation panel allows the administrator to perform his rights
allocation.

Initially the Spares are stored in the inward section. From there it goes for utility through
issue ,from where the inventory is getting tracked. After consumption of material the application updates for ROB and Re order level of material falling under respective category.
An indent can be raised, scrutinized by the chief authority on board and released as final purchase requisition which helps the Shore to take care of material supply to the ship.
The same flow is applicable for Consumable store items also , which has an additional coding standard according to ISSA code method to track down the appropriate item.

Reports:
The reports can be taken in any point of the data
flow, and could be based on user preferred logic
or as existing with periodicity using date intervals.
The above said reports and periodical entries are also available in the web
also .

Planned
Maintenance System, is a web and LAN based
application which controls the Normal, Periodical and emergency
maintenance of equipments on board.
A maintenance planner takes care
of the variety of Tasks related
to Maintenance survey and
Inspection to be done
along with the respective schedule.
The feedback
of the same can be obtained from the feedback report of all the
schedules planned over a period of time.

The PMS also takes care of dry
docking , one of the major process involved in vessel maintenance.
The exact cost of expenses incurred in each an every stage of the
dry docking is calculated and individual and collective expenses
on the total dry docking is measured accurately for feature
course of action.

The Entire application data can be
uploaded to the web through accessing your FTP of your web
server.
A separate tool comes along with the application to just upload
the recent data to the shore as well as to the web.
